Call me Molly.
Unless, of course, you don’t believe women are allowed to be pastors. In that case, you can call me Rev. Knappen.
A second-career pastor, I am an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church serving in parish ministry.
I love running my mouth about God.
I love thinking about Spirit.
I love reading, writing, and making art about Jesus Christ.
I love it all, because Everything, in its many little bits and pieces, all adds up to One.

What is Knappen.org?
This is a site full of spiritual tools, inside jokes, little recordings, bad reels, books, teaching posters, crafting weirdness, and swag because I just love this stuff.
Everybody needs a hobby.
Everything here is my work, unless otherwise noted. Should I become impaired, busy, or find myself beyond the bounds of wifi, I may ask someone to help me process orders. Otherwise, you are dealing with me.
Religion is a language.
Religion is a language of the soul. My soul encounters, wrestles with, and understands our universe using the language of Christ.
Christians can choose to “speak” our trust in Christ with spiritual practices of presence and service to the world. Christians can choose to “speak” the language of Jesus with compassion for all and insistence upon justice for the marginalized. Christians can also choose to “speak” with reverence for power and malice for the vulnerable– and many Christians do.
Don’t be confused by a Christian accent: Jesus gifted us a scaffold for liberation, not a cage. Grace is the birthright of all creation. Grace is your birthright, too. You are beloved by God beyond measure and without regret. Yes, you.
What strange movement of the Spirit led you to this site and these words, I will never know.
Thanks for stopping by.
